Terms

Last updated July 14, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Kinra app for iOS and our marketing site at getkinra.app. By using either one, you agree to them.

Not medical advice

Kinra is a calm nutrition coach for healthy adults. It offers conservative, general nutrition guidance. It is not a medical device, and it is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Kinra’s estimates and plan are just that: estimates. They aren’t a substitute for a qualified clinician. Please talk to a professional before relying on Kinra if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. If you’re in crisis, contact a local health service.

Your account and data

Kinra starts with a device-based account. During setup, you can choose a name for Kinra to use in the app; it does not need to be your legal name. You can optionally use Sign in with Apple to recover your account on a new device. You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.

You can permanently delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information.

Third-party AI

Kinra is an AI nutrition coach. To answer you, estimate meals, recognize food, and create meal illustrations, Kinra sends the information needed for the request through OpenRouter and its contracted model providers, or directly to Anthropic when that path is configured. The app explains this before setup continues, and you choose what to share with your coach. Our privacy policy describes the information involved and how it is used.

Subscriptions

Some features require Kinra Pro, a paid subscription. The available plans, current localized prices, billing periods, and any trial eligibility are shown in the app before you purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and billing is handled by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage or cancel your subscription in your iOS Settings under your Apple ID; we can’t cancel it for you. Prices may vary by region, and Apple may adjust them for currency or tax.

Acceptable use

Please use Kinra as intended: to log and understand your own food and progress. Don’t misuse the service. For example, don’t try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, don’t use it to harm others, and don’t use it in ways that break the law. We may suspend access that puts the service or other people at risk.

The marketing site

The site shares information about Kinra and links you to the app on the App Store. We work to keep it accurate, but it’s provided as is, and product details may change.

Our comparison pages describe other products factually, with sources and dates, and reflect the information available when written. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; we aren’t affiliated with them. If you believe something is inaccurate, email us and we’ll review it.

Disclaimers and liability

Kinra is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We can’t promise the estimates, plan, or service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, Kinra and its team aren’t liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for decisions you make based on the app’s guidance. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t legally be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Kinra evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date above. Continuing to use Kinra after a change means you accept the updated terms.
